What the job is about

Join our dynamic finance department with a global reach! As a Business Controller, you'll play a vital role in managing and optimizing financial processes. Your responsibilities include overseeing financial and operational data, ensuring uniform processing, and acting as a crucial liaison for inquiries. You'll also be instrumental in formatting and presenting financial data accurately and efficiently.

Key tasks involve transparent financial reporting, encompassing monthly closings, management reporting, budget analysis, cash reporting, and project updates. Your keen analysis of financial trends will inform budgeting and forecasting initiatives. Additionally, you'll contribute to ad hoc analyses and support the management team with strategic business cases.

At Sofico, you'll drive the evolution of our controlling activities, streamlining reporting procedures for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness. This includes expanding our reporting framework to accommodate diverse stakeholders and advancing digitalization within the finance department. Moreover, you'll play a pivotal role in integrating newly acquired or established companies into our financial processes.

Your interest and skills

You have a Master in Finance/Commercial Sciences/Economics  and can look back on at least 2 years of relevant experience controlling, preferably in an international environment in the services industry.   

You thrive in an international yet hands-on company. You know how to tackle things and would like to grow in the rapidly evolving, international Sofico story. 

You have a positive attitude and show eagerness to make the difference for Sofico. 

You combine an analytic mindset with excellent communication skills.   

You master Excel and get acquainted quickly with different reporting tools. Experience with Power BI, Lucanet and/or Exact is a big plus.  

With your excellent knowledge of Dutch and English, you ensure a good interaction with stakeholders and colleagues across the globe.
