What the job is about

As our Commercial Operations and Pricing Manager you’ll play a crucial role in the world of our company ‘Sofico’, where technological innovation and operational efficiency are paramount. This dynamic position requires a unique set of qualifications and skills to navigate the complex landscape of managing commercial and pricing operations in a software environment.

This position will enhance Sofico commercial operations by designing simple to use pricing tools, supporting the development of new offerings, building data analytics, providing financial support on deals and ad-hoc finance analysis support.

As the orchestrator of the Sofico's day-to-day commercial operations, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

As our Commercial Operations Manager, you will:

  • Manage global commercial operational processes

  • Support development of pricing strategy for deals to ensure high win probability

  • Overview the migration of those existing customers still using ‘perpetual licenses’ to the current subscription model
  • Challenge existing processes and pricing tools and propose recommendations with action plans

  • Develop and implement robust and scalable systems, processes, pricing tools and projects aligned with Sofico’s growth ambitions.

  • Track commercial performance on a number of KPIs to ensure ongoing improvements
  • Own the coordination and cross-functional execution of assigned process, pricing tools and product launches. Enable the commercial organization.

  • Support teams to foster a sense of involvement and ownership, participate in the implementation along with the required change management.

  • Partner with the leadership team and commercial team to develop and execute the company business strategy, objectives, and key results.

  • Deep understanding of the commercial details of all Sofico software and services, to recommend tactical pricing improvements on deals and enhancement of the published price list.

Your interests and skills 

Sofico delivers with ‘Miles’, an ERP software for automotive finance, leasing, fleet, and mobility management. It’s an end-to-end solution encompassing front-, mid-and back-office functions, that can be customized to the customers’ needs.  Sofico’s offer comprises the actual software as well as the implementation and customization service.  

As a Commercial Operations Manager you will bring your expertise and background, in combination with exceptional communication skills.

  • You ideally have 5 to 7 years of professional experience preferable in a fast-paced SaaS /software environment and/or consulting. 

  • You bring strong analytical and problems-solving skills with a strong understanding of how processes, data, and technology can enable problems and opportunities. 

  • Capable of breaking down complex issues and identifying key drivers.

  • Excellent modelling capability of financial models or pricing tools.

  • You’re an excellent communicator as you will communicate with teams, stakeholders and customers to ensure everyone is on the same page.

  • You have strong interpersonal skills as you will work closely with teams from various departments and within different levels of the organization.

  • Know-how to benchmark Sofico’s market positioning over time and deduct relevant actions.
  • You are fluent in English. Any other language is a plus.
