What the job is about

Sofico is at the forefront of the automotive finance, leasing and fleet & mobility industry. Looking to help our customers achieve their operational goals through cutting-edge technology and innovative products.

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by supporting the Product team in delivering even better Products. Recently, a transition was started to the organization towards a more mature product organization with a strong focus on building generic marketable products. A new role is created to drive the product way of working, improve efficiency by streamlining processes and facilitating communication, and this is where you come in.

You would:

  • Setup the necessary processes, provide checklists and make sure processes are followed.

  • Own the Roadmap Cadence process and the Release Communication process ensuring organizational readiness.

  • Maintain the Product Catalog.

  • Support the Product team with best practices, templates and improvements.

  • Enable tooling to establish automation and optimization.

  • Monitor and report on budgeting of product development.

  • Establish better reporting so data-driven decision can be made.

Your skills and interests

Besides being interested and skilled in the Product domain, change management and stakeholder management will be the two most important factors in this job. As mentioned Sofico is in a transition period, you will need to get people on board and convince them of the changes being made in their way of working.

With that in mind, communication skills will also be very important to collaborate, coordinate and convince.

You will also need a strong sense for organizing, structuring and optimizing.

What else is expected:

  • Experience in a similar role within product organization or project management office.

  • Experience with organizational tools like Jira and confluence.

  • Knowledge of product life cycle is a plus, however guidance can be provided.
