Day-to-Day, the role looks like:
Plan all aspects of the project lifecycle. Use a structured and disciplined approach towards risk, communication and stakeholder management
Guide the project teams on continuous improvement and core Agile values and principles
Manage project budget, scope and schedule
Provide constructive feedback for Sofico’s methodologies and procedures and actively participate in their refinement
Ensure all PM artefacts are completed and delivered, for both client and internal requirements. Periodic reporting to the Steering Committee and the enterprise PMO
Work with internal delivery teams to ensure the delivery planning is integrated and release dependencies are managed well
Contribute to implementation reviews and lessons learned workshops and make use of the lessons learnt in the past.
Provide constructive feedback for delivery methodologies and procedures and actively participate in their refinement
The Right Fit for the Role:
PM with strong stakeholder management skills and influencing skills, and the ability to drive the delivery of first-class product into client environments. It is a hands-on role, you will cover all aspects of planning, scheduling, resource output monitoring, scope, change, issues and risk management.
You have extensive experience with customer-facing ERP implementation projects, and you have an excellent insight in (financial) business processes
You have a thorough knowledge and experience with the difference phases of a software implementation project: from pre-sales phase till go-live; including discovery workshops, ERP configuration, development, migration, testing etc. You can maintain an overview of the different phases and manage the implementation of different modules simultaneously
You have proven experience in the management of technical teams, ensuring all road-blocks are removed such that they can deliver within required timeframes
Experience in large scale ERP projects and Agile deliveries is desired
Experience in fleet management and projects using cloud technology will be a good bonus
Relevant product training will still be provided.

You collaborate, co-operate and enjoy working with a very cohesive team. You are still technically astute, with a strong understanding of product implementations into client environments. You have a helico view as well as a pragmatic approach and you know when exactly you are required to pay full attention to the detail and when to use others’ expertise.
Your passion lies in your ability to drive successful projects to completion. Your analytical skills are exceptional, as is your ability to solve problems in a positive and effective manner. You have solid experience in working for either a vendor to the financial services industry or have internal experience in the same or similar industry. Relevant product training will be provided.
