Sofico is a global ERP software provider with an exclusive focus on automotive finance, leasing, fleet, and mobility management. Our software called “Miles” is an end-to-end solution encompassing front, mid and back-office functions that can be extensively customized to meet customer needs. Our clients are leasing and financial services companies as well as mobility management companies active in the automotive sector.
What the job is about
As an angular developer you will be part of a multidisciplinary team which has full responsibility to achieve its goals servicing our customers. You will work on our solution which can be extensively customized to the customers’ needs through configuration and development. As front-end expert you will play a crucial role in building and rolling out our new front end solutions, both within the company and to our customers.
You will be able to use your expertise and skills to take responsibility of the following work and tasks:
- Developing new front end application modules or enhancing existing web components of our established ERP solution Miles
- Maintaining and extending the internal framework in support of our web applications
- Maintaining and creating new user interfaces for our web applications
- Training, documenting and sharing knowledge of our Angular setup and its CI / CD surroundings
- Aligning architecture, design, patterns, UI and UX across all web applications is inherent to the role
- Building cutting edge consumer facing web sites based on our application platform
- Coaching junior developers and performing code reviews

Your skills and interests
- You are an experienced software engineer and have a passion for building state of the art web front-end applications.
- You have proven experience in Angular development and in writing clean and testable code in TypeScript.
- You know the concepts around Reactive Programming and have experience with RxJS.
- You have knowledge of or experience with recent web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3/Sass, web frameworks (Bootstrap, Material Design,...) and web development tools (WebStorm, Wallaby, Firefox/Chrome DevTools,...).
- You know what RESTful web services are and how to work with them.
- Knowledge of or experience with tools such as Node.js, NPM, GIT, Docker, Containers, Azure, UX & UI Design are a plus.
