At SOFICO, a dedicated CSR team takes charge of our CSR-progress in four areas: ethics, people, planet and society. With this strategy in mind, the aim is to positively contribute to society as a whole. Together, we keep positive progress on the move. One step at a time.
Ethics
Engagement is key. Culture sets the stage for everything. Based on honesty and integrity, we create a value-driven culture. From everyday inclusive dialogue to structurally promoting equal opportunities, ethics form the beating heart of our CSR ambitions.
People
A healthy mind in a healthy body. That’s our focus. With the Best Us marathon ambassadors, free sport initiations and a thriving feedback culture, people’s well-being is always a priority. A growth mindset is the driver of our sustainable and inclusive workplace.
” In 2023, 68 teams of Soficans throughout the world collected 100,000+ active minutes for a good cause. This resulted in a donation of 3,330€ to Doctors Without Borders and an additional 3,500€ for collecting 31 million steps in 2024. “

Planet
We take a broad view of our environmental impact and keep looking for ways to reduce it. The clearest expression of that is a set of climate targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), an independent confirmation that our plans to cut emissions match what climate science requires. It gives our work a measured goal to aim for, and that goal shows up in everyday choices across the company: from installing solar panels and electrifying our fleet to planting endangered tree species in Tanzania, Thailand, Ghana and Haiti through Treedom.

Society
It’s the people that drive change for a better future. With different initiatives, collaborations and campaigns, we give back to society. From donating used laptops to putting charity first – spending time and giving attention to local communities matters to us.
” Over the last few years, SOFICO has donated 181 laptops to the “Close the Gap” organization. We also participated in the Apheon Challenge, raising money for “Teach for All“, a global organization developing collective leadership to ensure all children can fulfill their potential. “
