You will be part of a dynamic multidisciplinary unit, responsible for the full range of services towards our customers in Germany. This includes implementation projects, customer & core software enhancements, post-go-live support, and account management. You will be based in Germany, but will also work on projects abroad.
As Accounting Consultant, you will supporting our existing customers in their use of our software and implementing our system for new customers. You role will primarily encompass the optimization of business processes and improvement of operational efficiencies for the customer. You will translate requirements into functional analyses and internally follow up developments. Based on your profile, you may also perform tests and implement the rollout of new developments.
Furthermore, you will help internal teams optimize our accounting modules within our software according to general and international accounting standards and legal specifics.
You will have the opportunity to broaden the scope of your job and be involved in a more technical or commercial capacity.
Your Interests and Skills
Communication is key in our projects, you have to communicate well with customers and your colleagues - Proficient knowledge of German (C1/2 business fluent) and English is required.
You have relevant experience with AP/AR and accounting or financial processes.
You have an excellent understanding of German and / or international accounting standards (HBG, IFRS, etc.)
You have an affinity with or a strong interest in IT.
You have a strong analytical mind, are dynamic, organized, flexible, and service-oriented. You're eager to learn and are looking for a challenge.
You are an excellent team player and have strong interpersonal skills.
As we work all over Germany and also abroad, you are happy to travel occasionally to customers or other Sofico offices.
